"Best Teacher Ever" Gift Basket With Pennant
Turn a clear Dollar Store scalloped container into a notebook-inspired lined paper teacher gift basket, then fill it with small treats and finish it with a Best Teacher Ever triangle pennant.
Materials
- permanent markers
- small teacher treats drink mix packets, candy, or gift cards
- Wooden skewer or lollipop stick
- Tape
Instructions
- Use a ruler and blue permanent marker to draw evenly spaced horizontal lines across the front of the container to resemble ruled notebook paper.
- Use the ruler and red permanent marker to draw one vertical red margin line near the left side of the container.
- Attach the teacher's initial letter to the front of the container.
- Add iridescent shredded paper filler to the bottom of the container.
- Arrange small teacher treats, drink mix packets, candy, and a gift card inside the container.
- Print and cut out the Best Teacher Ever triangle pennant.
- Attach the pennant to a wooden skewer or lollipop stick.
- Place the finished pennant into the gift container and adjust the contents so the pennant and gifts are easy to see.
