Random Act of Kindness day

Tomorrow is National Random Act of Kindness Day and the boys and I are so excited to share a few things we are doing to celebrate. Last year, we participated in 28 days of kindness for the month of February. As fun as that was, we decided this year to keep it easy and simple. Instead we decided to do a few things throughout the day for our neighborhood friends.

We will be leaving containers of bubbles around our neighborhood with a note that says “Hope that the fun in your day doubles, now that you found these bubbles.” We have a nice walking path near our house where we will be walking to, so we can leave them around for kids to find.  I purchased these bubble containers at the Dollar Tree.

We also put together a bag of goodies for our mail carrier with a sweet note attached. Our mail carrier is always so nice and sweet, so we wanted to show him our appreciation.  We filled a paper bag with snack and flavored water we had at the house.

We will also be leaving a basket of lemons outside our house for neighbors and friends to take and enjoy. We have a lemon tree that currently has way more lemons than I can handle.  Sharing is caring!

Tomorrow the boys will be making a chalk obstacle course out front with fun activities to do and words of encouragement for our neighborhood friends. Hope these ideas help encourage you to celebrate kindness! Share your ideas with me in the comments!  Find me on instagram at stayathomecircus and share what you came up with!  I would love to see!
